I was recently asked why I don’t market “Transformations”.

Basically, “Transformations” are on the same level as “Toning” and “Detoxes” … They show a complete lack of understanding of human physiology.

The human body regresses dramatically when under stimulated… The idea that a 6-week transformation will result in a “Happy ever after” is deluded… It simply instils the mentality of “Short term work for long term success”.

You are not a butterfly!… The human body requires good nutrition and consistent physical training – Long term! … You don’t have to be “strict” 24/7, you can have a few drinks and the odd takeaway or chocolate bar… But it’s all in moderation… Your main goal should be to consistently train hard and as often as you can, while getting as much good nutrition in as you can in the right quantities.

Don’t get me wrong, “Transformations” make for great marketing, and it sells… However, so do pills that claim to make a penis grow by 6 inches in as many weeks… You do the math!

Countless studies show that “Transformation” training models have the same effect as many fad diets… Individuals lose weight, then regress… Often gaining more fat than they lost.

Whys is it all about weight loss anyway? … For me, fat loss is simply a subcategory of overall health and performance… It’s not the main goal as it happens naturally (without loss of muscle) when you programme training properly and instil a mentality of sustainability… It’s a lifestyle change, not a 6-week transformation.

P.S. DOMS (Muscle soreness) is not a sign of overtraining… It’s a sign of lack of training frequency.
