Finally finished the 1st draft of my 1st book!
Looking to self publish on Amazon towards the end of the year… Getting all the pictures and illustrations done seems like a mammoth, but luckily the 5S Facility makes for the perfect setting.
The book is essentially about the fast that most individualsĀ go to the gym and think about training their muscles.
Train the MovementsĀ teaches you to think about training movements… Specifically the 7 Basic Human Movement Patterns and in particular, the 3 Primary Movements for Strength Development – Squat, Push & Pull.
It all starts with Posture and finishes with intelligent programming… Maximising lifting mechanics, optimising the benefits of the training/exercise and minimising the risk of injuries.
Essentially a book for those that don’t necessarily have an in-depth knowledge of physical training… But do want to take a more educated approach to their physical development.
All whilst not falling into the pitfall of becoming too “functional” in your mind-set… Achieving very little, with exercises that are overthought… Trying to reinvent the wheel.
Train the Movement and set a solid foundation to build upon!
