Monday is often referred to as “International Chest Day” – Which seems to be a favourite amongst males within the gym.
I’m going to be working arms today… I know a lot of strength professionals argue that it is not necessary to dedicate a full session to arms, due to Biceps being worked on pulling exercises (Such as back work) & Triceps being worked on pushing exercises (Such as chest and overhead presses)
I personally like to train arms, I always put a lot of emphasis on working my triceps (Love a good Skull Crusher) and working specifically on these smaller muscle groups can really aid in developing your overall capability on the bigger lifts – It’s often the triceps that are finishing the lifts… We don’t want any weak link along the chain!
