Carries are one of the best, if not the best way to develop total body Strength… What is often referred to as ” Inner Strength”, “Anaconda Strength” or sometimes “Mong Strength”!

I like to use my Farmers Walk Handles which weigh 17.5kg each and allow me to load plates onto the front and rear… In the pic I have 100kg in each hand.

Other carries and variants include using a Trap/Hex Bar, heavy Dumbbells or Kettlebells, Overhead carries (Olympic Bar / Hanging Band Technique), utilising a Bear-Hug method or a Zercher carry… All of these are great and should be incorporated into a solid Strength & Conditioning programme.
