When you search “Gym Macclesfield” on Google, dozens of results come up, and although these gyms are all competition for us, it is an awesome thing that there are so many successful gyms and personal trainers within Macclesfield!

In Macclesfield, we have 5+ large commercial gyms, multiple strength and conditioning gyms and functional fitness facilities, numerous bodybuilding gyms, several combat gyms and dozens of private personal training studios, and small independent gyms.

Now I could argue about which gym is the best or how my gym is better than the rest. However, it ultimately comes down to whether the gym is RIGHT FOR YOU – all Macclesfield Gyms have their place.

If your priority is having a gym with a swimming pool, then 5S Fitness is NOT the gym for you, and the leisure center is a much better option.

If your priority is having dozens of resistance machines to work on, then 5S is not the gym for you, and one of the commercial gyms will be a better choice for you.

So what are the key things that will potentially make 5S Fitness the right gym for you in Macclesfield?

  • When you train at 5S Fitness, you will get guidance from expert strength and conditioning coaches who will tailor all the training to suit your needs and goals.

  • We have two types of classes, Strength Training and Conditioning. These classes are scientifically proven to produce the greatest results, hence why world-class athletes train the way we do.

  • Our Strength board has a new program each week for you to follow (usually follows a 12-16-week cycle). However, we can also provide you with bespoke programs.

  • I am an ex-army physical training instructor, so when you jump on our Conditioning (circuit training) classes, you are going to be worked hard. However, you can work at your own pace, so never worry about your current fitness levels: Gyms are not just for fit people; they exist to get people fit.

  • Our coaches have expertise in injury rehabilitation, obesity and diabetes, the management of lower back pain, pre and post-natal exercise, nutrition, and working with ailments such as arthritis, osteoporosis and COPD to name just a few. Many of our coaches also have experience working with depression and anxiety, etc.

  • One thing that makes independent gyms different from commercial gyms is the community feel. When you train at 5S, you are always greeted by coaches and members who know you and make an effort to say hello and have quality interactions (this is absolutely key in this day and age).

  • The layout of the gym provides you with lots of space to train and you are sure to get your own rack and equipment to use.

  • We not only have numerous squat racks, Olympic barbells, plates, dumbbells and kettlebells, but we also have loads of specialist Strongman equipment, a Concept 2 rower and ski ERG, a curve treadmill, an air bike, a spin bike, dozens of unique equipment like our truck pull simulator and one of the longest indoor monkey bar runs in the UK!

If you want to give the gym a try, come down any time and try a week for FREE – you can try as many classes as you like during your free week.
